Garden Party

Over a month late uploading these and posting them... but here are a few pictures from my roommate's birthday party in July!

 I just came back from a 9 day field course in the Bruce Peninsula with my school, and have now finally showered properly and I feel nice and clean! I love camping but there is nothing like the feeling of coming back home and scrubbing all of the bug spray and campfire smell off of your body! I would post pictures from my trip but i left my camera charger at home so i couldn't take any! It was a really great time though... we spent a few hours a day out in the forest monitoring tree health and species composition, and then in out free time we would drink around the campfire, go to the beach, or hike around the peninsula! I got to know a bunch of other people in my faculty really well too, and I have a rock climbing partner for when I go to Ottawa in a few weeks!

Before I went on my field course I went to see the Arcade Fire on Center Island in Toronto. Awesome concert, plus I ran into my long lost friend Jessica! It was great seeing her. I also did some shopping... my 'excuse' was that I needed to get office clothes, but half of the things I bought were not office appropriate (black high waist-ed short shorts, crop top....).

I'm off to spend a few days with Peter's family, then i will be back to my parent's place for some relaxation.

Date Night

Peter is taking me out for dinner tonight to a nice little place called Sole... It is a mediterranean restaurant, and it's in one of the old Seagram's distillery buildings uptown. The actual distillery has been transformed into really nice lofts, whenever I walk by there I always peek in the big windows and wish that I lived there... unfortunately not in a student budget for housing. Anyways, this is what I'm wearing!

Headband: H&M/handmade? (I took an headband and a bow hair tie from h&m and sewed them together)

I'm also almost done my semester! I just have my french exam tomorrow afternoon!
